This cutter has had the
design reversed. So when we cut the cookie (right) it looks the same as the
original design, but looking at the cutter, it is backwards. If you DO NOT want
your design reversed, you must request that it is not.
Cookie with internal lines that mark the dough.
Cookie with cut-out.
As opposed to mark.
All the above cookies are Jughandle Gingersnaps from PIE IN THE SKY, SUCCESSFUL BAKING AT HIGH ALTITUDES by Susan G. Purdy (we are at 9,693 feet above sea level and her recipes work!)

A silhouette (such as this one) is a good design for us to use to make a silhouette cookie cutter.
A line drawing (like
this) shows us exactly what you want us to make your cookie cutter look like.
IF YOU ARE SENDING US A PHOTO FOR A SILHOUETTE, PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS BELOW: There may be a $25.00 art charge.
NOT GOOD. Taken from too
high up, too busy background.
NOT GOOD. Taken from
behind the head, too busy background. Back of head missing.
NOT GOOD. Taken as a
three quarter view, not from the side, bad lighting.
SO SO. Good profile, but
using flash makes a shadow. Hard to see exact profile.
GOOD. Taken at ear
level, good profile, good contrast on the background.
